A Keen Sense of Balance

Bovino Consulting Group’s Gainsharing design process begins with a strong ethical commitment to a plan that is balanced between the needs of the stockholders (owners), employees and customers.  A well designed plan must be:
  • Fair to stockholders … as they provide the capital resources to operate the business.

  • Fair to employees … as they provide the human talent/resources to operate the business.

  • Responsive to, or exceed customers’ expectations for product/service quality, on-time performance, etc. … as they provide the all important revenue

Our design process also strikes a balance between plan design accuracy and plan design simplicity. Our plans are accurately designed and communicated in a manner that is easily understood by employees.  We also avoid overly simplistic plans that may drive the wrong behavior or drive activities that do not produce desirable results.

Fatal Design & Implementation Flaws

The plan design is the foundation upon which rests the success of the plan.  It is critical to design the plan around the specific needs of the business. It is also an absolute must to get the design right the first time, as frequent changes erode the plans credibility in the eyes of employees. The business landscape is littered with ill-conceived and poorly designed plans. It is important to avoid the many common mistakes that are repeatedly made by organizations.
